First steps with .NET MAUI creating a Android app
Summary
In this stream, Frank celebrates Quebec’s national holiday by diving into .NET MAUI to build an Android version of his Notebookmark web app, aiming to let him stay productive while commuting offline. After some initial struggles with emulator performance and environment setup, he uses AI to brainstorm the product requirements and manages to get the app running on a virtual tablet. Despite a few “emulator hell” moments and a persistent dialogue crash, he successfully debugs the issue to find a missing fluent service provider, keeping the vibe fun and interactive with the help of his community and the streamer map.
